Read for Life Scholarship

 

Amount: $500.00

Criteria: high school senior, minimum of 50 hours of volunteer service outside of school focusing on improving literacy, 2 letters of recommendation, minimum 3.0 GPA.

America's Farmers Grow Ag Leaders Scholarship

Amount: $1,500.00

Criteria: high school senior, plan to attend a vocational, 2 year or 4 year qualifying Ag related student program after high school, meet minimum 2.5 GPA, obtain at least 2 electronic endorsements from qualifying farmers who live or farm in eligible county.

SHS Ag Boosters Scholarship

Amount: Varies

Criteria: students who will pursue an Agricultural major of study in post-secondary education, scholarship will be awarded after official transcripts are submitted with one full time college units with GPA of 2.0 or higher.

E.M Tharp and World Ag Exp Scholarship

Amount: Two $10,000 scholarships

Criteria: graduating senior, acceptance to an accredited 4 year university, future educational and vocational career goals in agriculture, applicant must reside in Madera, Fresno, Tulare, Kings or Kern counties, completion of scholarship application, including transcripts and letters of recommendation.

Tulare County Cattlemen's Scholarship

Amount: $1000

Criteria: Graduate from a Tulare County high school, 2 letters of recommendation, record of participation, current transcripts and 500 word essay.

Tulare County Cattlewomen Scholarship

Amount: $1,500. & $1,000.

Criteria: Must currently attend college or jr college, or have graduated from a high school in Tulare Co., major in agriculture field with a livestock emphasis highly preferred.

Provident-Salierno Pursuing Victory with Honor Scholarship

Amount: $500

Criteria: 2020 graduate of any Tulare Co high school; 3.0 GPA; plans to attend a college/university full time during 2020-21; exhibit exceptional sportsmanship, school and community service, and leadership.
