Criteria: 2.4 gpa & above, High School students having financial need, wanting to attend 4 year college

Jack Kent Cooke Foundation College Scholarship Program


Amount: Funding up to $40,000 a year

Criteria: Undocumented students can apply also, 4 yr college; GPA 3.5+; top 15% SAT/ACT; fin need; income up to $95,000

Elk’s National Foundation 2018/2019 Most Valuable Student


Amount:  $1,000 - $15,000 per year – varies

Criteria:  Financial need; Seniors with leadership qualities

Dr. Juan Andrade Scholarship for Young Hispanic Leaders


Amount: $1,000 - 500 Plus a trip to United States Hispanic Leadership Institute in Chicago

Criteria: Seniors with Leadership qualities, must be accepted for enrollment full-time 2 or 4 year college.

Porterville Elks Lodge # 1342 VETERANS Award


Amount:  $1,000 - $12,500

Criteria:  Essay on leadership

Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship

Amount: $30,000 over 4 yrs.

Criteria:  minority student, high school graduated, must have good SAT & ACT scores

Burger king Scholarship


Amount:  $1,000 - 5,000

Criteria: High School,gpa 2.0-4.0. any major, first 50,000 applicants

Tri Counties Bank Scholarship


Amount: $1,500.00

Criteria: high school senior who demonstrates a keen interest in public service, community engagement and business entrepreneurship.

Read for Life Scholarship


Amount: $500.00

Criteria: high school senior, minimum of 50 hours of volunteer service outside of school focusing on improving literacy, 2 letters of recommendation, minimum 3.0 GPA.

America's Farmers Grow Ag Leaders Scholarship

Amount: $1,500.00

Criteria: high school senior, plan to attend a vocational, 2 year or 4 year qualifying Ag related student program after high school, meet minimum 2.5 GPA, obtain at least 2 electronic endorsements from qualifying farmers who live or farm in eligible county.

SHS Ag Boosters Scholarship

Amount: Varies

Criteria: students who will pursue an Agricultural major of study in post-secondary education, scholarship will be awarded after official transcripts are submitted with one full time college units with GPA of 2.0 or higher.
